"Mistsubishi Ductless Split Air Conditioner" by "wali" (Oahu, United States of America) August of 2009, I called about 5 different AC contractors to have estimates to install air condition in my whole house. 3 contractors gave me price on Fujitsu and 2 on Mitsubishi. AMV, Air Master, and AC Shoppe Fujitsu did not impress me at all. They could not answer all my questions I had for them. On the other hand, RMI Mechanical and Air Source Mitsubishi are very professional. Both could answer all my questions on the pros and cons of Ductless Splits compared to Central ACs. I ended up going with RMI Mechanical because Randy, the owner, seemed to have more knowledge about ACs than the other companies.I am VERY, VERY glad I went with RMI Mechanical. His workers, Chad, Rommel and Brandon are very professional. They are a good team. They are very professional, trustworthy, and very entertaining. They make sure the customer is really happy and clean up after themselves. I recommend RMI Mechanical to all my friends and also to the ones on WOMF.
"Support downtowns small businesses " by "YagaYo" (Fairbanks, United States of America) In case you have not noticed, Downtown Fairbanks is improving. There are several great restaurants, coffee shops, hair salons and boutique style stores. There are also activities that take place year round. I am tired of hearing people complain about our downtown being lame. Its not downtown thats lame its the people that dont support downtown business that are lame. By support I mean, SPEND SOME MONEY PEOPLE I know several people that own a business downtown. Most of them work extremely long hours, with very little or perhaps NO pay and I know a few that are in debt up to their ears. Many of them work community service in what little free time they have. These people would have much easier lives if they would sit back and collect welfare and perhaps make babies, but instead they choose to bust their butts to stimulate our economy. It doesnt take much effort to support downtown. Enjoy lunch at Bobbys, or a glass of wine at Lavelles, check out S salon for a new do or brow wax, Chartreuse is a HOT little go green artvintage shop, Big Daddys has the BEST margaritas in Fairbanks, River City has a great lunch menu and is my favorite place to get coffee. Want to have fun exploring old treasures, check out Elegant Memories on 2nd Ave next to Big Rays. If Only a fine store is a great place to buy gifts. I could keep going..... Cindys boutique, Cats Meow, Alaska House Art Gallery.....the list goes on and on I was talking with one business owner downtown and they told me that they were burnt out on people asking for support for whatever fundraiser, walking out with gift certificates or free goods and then never coming back to spend money. If you are an organization that has taken money, or goods, from a small downtown business then you need to return the favor. If you like a business and really want to see it stay around you have to support it IF you have a great experience then you should WOMF it and tell everyone you know to show some support Come on PEOPLE, lets work together to make Downtown Fairbanks just get better and better
"SuperOnlineStore" by "expatbruce" (Brisbane, Australia) Bought item from the superonlinestore. It arrived damaged and I have spent the last 2 weeks desperately trying to get at least a response or comment out of them. To date, no luck. Dont risk buying from them as if there is a problem, you will be caught out like I was.
"Rodz South Hot Rod and Performance Parts" by "j_henry" (Dunedin, New Zealand) I have just recently transplanted a Chevrolet V8 into an old Holden I have. After receiving very bad service and ridiculously high prices on goods from another V8 specialist in town,, I decided to give Rodz South a try.Greg, the manager, has been nothing short of the best to me. I am a newbie in the field of automechanics and he has taken the time to explain concepts and theories behind mechanics, as well as go far beyond the call of duty for a shop that sells parts. He once ordered a part in for me and because of shipping delays, he let me burrow a second hand item he had lying around until my new part got in.I would recommend Rodz South to anybody who has a classic car, American or Australian vehicle or any V8 or old 6 you want to do up.
"What are they thinking" by "Maga" (Astoria, United States of America) I heard something that may be a rumor. The Regatta Royal Court princesses and Queen to be picked for this year are being shorted of their Special Activities because of the OREGON BICENTENIAL next year. Money that would normally be for the girls this year is being saved to make next year SPECIAL. NO FLOAT for parades even Astorias Regatta Parade. No money, time,or incentive to work on a float. The Regatta committee is burned out. What about these girls, this yearThe committee needs some changes
"Sipping Streams FTW" by "melissadale" (Fairbanks, United States of America) Even before Sipping Streams opened I was salivated for months in anticipation of Fairbankss own tea house. I must say, Sipping Streams did not disappoint The food is wonderful, but mostly the tea is fabulous. I love how no sugar is added to their tea smoothies, just fresh fruit and tea.If you want some of the best tea ever, try the Northern Serenity. It is a chocolate mint tea and by far my favorite. It can be a little difficult to find downstairs from Wok Roll, and even though there are no windows in the business, the decor is very soothing that you hardly notice the lack of windows. If you like tea, youll love Sipping Streams.
"FREE TO GOOD HOME" by "Pickle89" (Cairns, Australia) We are Moving Down South to Brisbane Next month and Unfortunately are unable to take our Beloved boy Sam with us.He is an 11month old KelpiexGerman Shepperd, all white. He really is a special guy, such a wonderful nature and is really good with our 6month old son.We really are heartbroken at not being able to take him with us and are desp seeking a new home for him.He is a bit of a Typical Kelpie, heaps of energy and can sometimes be a bit bouncy but having had dogs all my life have never come across a dog like him. He has had basic obedience training sit, stay, lie down etc and walks very well on and off the lead. Hes very intelligent and responded extremely well to training.Hed ideally be suited to a very active family he loves his walks or to someone living on property so he has plenty of space to run or additionally someone just able to give him the attention he needs and deserves. He would really make a wondeful companion or addition to the family, he just wants to be a part of everything and loves his hugs.If you are interested please dont hesitate to contact me Rachel on 40330193 or you can email me at Talentmachotmail.com if you would like some photos.
